General Information
- Enchanting is one of six Crafting professions.
- To enchant something you need different Rods that are crafted while you level up your profession and that need to remain in your inventory. Unenchanted rods are created by Blacksmithing.
- Enchanters do need green, blue or epic armor or weapons to disenchant and get useful materials like dust or essences from them.
- As a second profession, any crafting profession is recommended so you can create enough green stuff to disenchant.
- Enchanters enchant weapons and armor to upgrade them with e.g. +7 Stamina or something similar.
Enchanting Trainers
With Burning Crusade, every profession is fully learnable up to 300 from the teachers in the capitals.
Don’t forget to visit your profession trainer to not waste any materials!
Apprentice (1-75 | requires Level 5)

Step by Step from 1 to 300
When you play Burning Crusade, you can theoretically reach skill 75 by disenchanting. Note that there are level requirements for disenchanting certain items. Disenchanting level 60 items with a level 1 character is not possible.
