Why choose Blacksmithing in Forever?
Craft weapons, armor, grinding stones, and mount equipment from ore and metal bars. Mining is the ideal gathering profession to pair with Blacksmithing.
You need a Blacksmith Hammer and a forge or anvil to craft your items. Save Rough and Coarse Grinding Stones for later recipes. You can buy flux from blacksmithing supply vendors.
Leveling path 1–300: Learn Artisan Blacksmithing at skill 200 and character level 35. Yellow and green recipes do not guarantee a skill point, so all material amounts are estimates. Buy expensive reagents in batches.
Blacksmithing Trainers and Ranks
Starting areas: Smith Argus in Goldshire, Tognus Flintfire in Kharanos, and Dwukk in Razor Hill. Night Elves must travel to Delfrum Flintbeard in Auberdine; there is no Blacksmithing trainer in Teldrassil or Darnassus. Tauren can train in Thunder Bluff.

This shopping list covers the main route to 225 using Heavy Mithril Gauntlets and Mithril Spurs. Yellow and green recipes may require extra attempts. Save intermediate items and buy expensive materials in batches.

Prepare your stones: For 165–185, you need 40 Heavy Grinding Stones; for 200–225, you need a total of 55 Solid Grinding Stones. The raw stones are already included in the shopping list, so do not purchase both the finished grinding stones and their raw materials.

Learn Artisan Blacksmithing from Brikk Keencraft in Booty Bay at skill 200 and character level 35. This route requires the Mithril Order questline and access to Magnus Frostwake; prepare both in advance.
Recipe unlocks: The World At Your Feet unlocks Ornate Mithril Boots. The Spectral Essence from the Scholomance questline lets you see Magnus in Darrowshire. Purchase both vendor plans with your blacksmith character.
